The workshop was attended by farmers, soil doctor, stake holders of the Namchun watershed, representative of LDD regional office in Petchabun and Anukul Suchinai. ITC staff present were Abbas Farshad and Dhruba Shrestha. A lively discussion was held on the key issues of land degradation problem and conservation measures. Outcome of this workshop gave clear understanding of the problem as well as idea on land use plans from the viewpoint of land users and stake holders. Since most of the discussions with farmers were in Thai language, Anukul accepted to prepare a report of this workshop which is still to come.   Development of Methodologies for Land Degradation Assessment Applied to Land Use Planning in Thailand ^go to top
