This group includes salt affected soils in mangrove forest. They are very muddy and poorly drained. Soil reaction is commonly very alkaline. Soil s in this group is Ta Chin (Tc) series.

                     This soil is not suitable for any agricultural production. In some places they are applied to be salt pan and aqua culture. Mangrove forest or aqua culture are recommended in the areas. If they are aqua culture, waste water treatment is recommended. The mangrove areas should be reserved to be buffer of wind and wave and marine resources.
