ABSTRACT

Study of the effect of Ammonium Laurenth Sulphate (Agri-SC) and compost production in Pak Chong Soil Series for sugar cane growth was carried out in Thongpraphum, Kanjanaburi province during 1994-1995. The experimental design was Randomized completely block design. There were 6 treatment in 3 replication which consisted of check, compost 1 ton/rai, Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai and Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai mixed with compost 1 ton/rai. The result showed that soil properties of all treatment in sugar cane growth at 110, 180 and 280 were not different but there were quite different of phosphorus in soil content during sugar came growth at 110 days. Phosphorus in soil content which applied compost 1 ton/rai, Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai and Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai were 12.25, 5.5, 4.5, 19 and 19 ppm respectively.
Electrical conductivity in the treatment which used compost 1 ton/rai mixed with Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai, were increased more than other treatments at 110, 180 and 280 days of sugar cane growth. Nutrient content in Soil such as potassium, calcium and magnesium in all treatment were not different. Calcium in soil content which applied check, compost 1 ton/rai, Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai and Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai mixed with compost 1 ton/rai were 352, 371, 544, 549, 484 and 585 ppm. respectively. Magnesium content which applied check, compost 1 ton/rai, Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai and Agri-SC 100 and 200 cc/rai mixed compost 1 ton/rai were 112.5, 103.3, 127.3, 133.5, 117.8 and 137.0 ppm respectively.
