Steps in Photogrammetric Mapping and Mapping Information Service
by the Land Development Department

     Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group provides photogrammetric or mapping information service for various offices, both government and private sectors including general public, by the standard of the Ministerial Regulations’ particular standards, implements and proviso, and cost rate for mapping or mapping data services of 2012, and Land Development Committee’s particular standards, implements and proviso concerning the requests in mapping or mapping data services of 2010, as follows:

   Case 1
-  Numerical data service requests are limited to 100 official records and/or 20 official
    records for hard copy maps.
-  Unconditional requests (service charge rates following cost rates account in the
    Ministerial Regulation’s appendix) and without accompanying documents, audit
    evidence/ price evaluation, information consignment letter etc. in addition.

Service and service request steps procedure
    A client submits letter of notification to the Land Development Department’s Director
    General, requesting for maps and map data, indicating the purpose, project area scope
    or evidence of possessory right document (if any) in complimentary with approval
    consideration. Submit the documents at the Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group,
    5th floor, 8-story Building.

Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group will do as follows:
- Enquire for request details/ reply to inquiries and explain the details in service request
   steps and procedures, problems and obstacles in giving services.
- Check and appraise the cost for mapping and mapping information service by using data
   searching system following the area conditions informed by the client, and calculate the
   charge following the cost rate account in the Ministerial Regulation appendix. 
-  Propose to the Department for information service approval.
-  Construct photo gram metric mapping and mapping information by transcription from the
    watermark-imprinted documents for prevention from copyright violation and to be
    traceable subsequently.
-  The client will pay the service charge at the Finance Sub-division, Division of Finance,
   3rd floor, 6-story Building, Land Development Department by cash or cheque order and
   submit a copy of certificate of payment to the Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group,
   1st floor, 8-story Building during the official work hours to obtain the requested

Information.The documents to be submitted are 
(a) Land Development Department’s Mapping or Mapping information service request
      notification documents
(b)  memorandum of agreement for information application signed by the chief of
       government section or authorized officer
(c)  a power of attorney document in case the client cannot come to receive by him/herself.

    Case 2
- Numerical data service requests are more than 100 official records and/or 20 official
   records for hard copy maps.
- Conditional requests that need to be considered by the Department and/or with
   accompanying documents, audit evidence/ price evaluation, information consignment
   letter etc. in addition.

Service and service request steps procedure
    A client submits a letter of notification to Land Development Department’s Director
    General requesting for maps and map data, indicating the purpose, project area scope
    or evidence of possessory right document (if any) in complimentary with approval
    consideration. Submit the documents at the Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group,
    5th floor, 8-story Building

2. Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group will do as follows:
 -  Enquire for request details/ reply to inquiries and explain the details in service request

 -  Check and appraise the cost for mapping and mapping information service by using
    data searching system following the area conditions informed by the client, such as
    administrative boundaries, official record number, grid coordinate UTM (N, E),
    geographic coordinate (Lat,Long) and shape file, then the service charge is
    calculated following the cost rate account in the Ministerial Regulation appendix.
 -  Request for the approval to present the information from the Department.
 -  Inform the client the number of documents and service charge by phone and via
    website www.lddservices.org , with the verification results and cost evaluation
    statement issuedif requested
 -  Construct photo gram metric mapping and mapping information by transcription from the
    watermark-imprinted documents for prevention from copyright violation and to be
    traceable subsequently.
 -  Inform the client for making an appointment to obtain the information, service charge
    and payment steps.

3.The client will pay the service charge at the Finance Sub-division, Division of Finance,
   3rd floor, 6-story Building, Land Development Department by cash or cheque order and
   submit a copy of certificate of payment to the Mapping and Orthophoto Service Group,
   1st floor, 8-story Building during the official work hours to obtain the requested    
   information

The documents to be submitted are

      government section or authorized officer
(c) a power of attorney document in case the client cannot come to receive by him/herself.
